Ar-Rayyan Maahad operates a safe house — a vital part of its mission to create a holistic and nurturing environment for the young girls it serves. This safe house is more than just a shelter; it is a secure, supportive home where the girls live, learn, and heal.

Majority of the students at Ar-Rayyan Maahad come from extremely disadvantaged or vulnerable backgrounds, including poverty, broken homes, and environments that expose them to neglect, abuse, or exploitation. The safe house offers these girls a protected space where they can feel secure, regain their confidence, and focus on their education and personal development.

Clean, comfortable living quarters where the girls are free from the dangers and hardships they may face in their home environments.

Balanced and healthy meals are served regularly to ensure the girls are physically nourished and able to concentrate on their studies and training.

The girls are supervised by trained female staff who serve as both guardians and role models, ensuring a structured routine and fostering a sense of discipline and responsibility.

As part of their daily lives in the safe house, the girls participate in prayer, Islamic study sessions, and moral development programs that reinforce positive character building.

Caring staff offer guidance, mentorship, and emotional support. In some cases, counseling services are also provided to help the girls process trauma and rebuild their self-esteem.

Perhaps most importantly, the safe house provides a sense of family and community. Many of the girls form close bonds with each other and their caretakers, finding strength and hope in their shared experiences.
